Let the games begin!

Question: Do you call your mother every day, or only on her birthday, Mother’s Day, and Christmas? Answer: My mother and I text daily. Very important when keeping up with my sisters’ current boyfriends. Not that Mom and I could ever keep up on that revolving door. Dad and I talk once a month. He enjoys hearing how my business is going. As a retired chiropractor, he continues to read up on the new innovations and technologies, but he gets his patient fix through me.

Question: What is your motto? Answer: People of mediocre ability sometimes achieve outstanding success because they don’t know when to quit. Most men (I’d amend to people) succeed because they are determined to. – George Allen

Question: What is your most marked characteristic? Answer: I’ve been told my skill in manipulating patients’ spines makes me a miracle worker. That’s overstepping it a bit, but I do take pride in my attention to patient care. A good bedside manner is important for any caregiver and I like to think I go out of my way to make my patients comfortable and figure out how to help them.

Question: What is your most treasured possession? Answer: The antique desk my father passed down to me when he retired. The desk was originally my grandfather’s. It’s in pretty good shape for furniture that’s seen almost 100 years of use.

Question: What is your greatest extravagance? Answer: My Mason Pearson military hairbrush. My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy for spending so much money, but he agrees my hair looks fabulous!

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Answer: I wish I didn’t have as much of a sweet tooth. I’ve never met a type of candy that I didn’t like.

Question: What historical figure do you most identify with? Answer: Benjamin Franklin. I’m not as inventor or philosopher, but I admire his ability to change his mind as he learned new things. It’s important to me that I can be open minded about different issues that come up in life.

Question: Coke or Pepsi? Answer: Water. Who drinks soda these days?

Question: What super power would you like most? Answer: Telepathy. Can you imagine how many patients I could heal if I get them to improve their posture or stop eating unhealthy foods? I wonder if this would work on my sweet tooth?

Question: What would you consider your greatest achievement?  Answer: It’s a work in progress, but it will be when I become a parent. I can’t wait until that day!
