Who’s That Character?

I’m a week behind getting this month’s Who’s That Character? contest out. The release of My Best Memory – Helene’s Story threw me off a bit!

But in case you missed it, the correct answer to May’s Who’s That Character? was Max. You can click here to read the Q & As. No winner in May, but maybe someone will win in June.

A refresher on the contest:

The first person to email me at carole@carolewolfe.com with the name of the character who is answering the “Who’s That Character?” questions will receive a free digital copy of my latest book, My Best Memory – Helene’s Story. I will include the answer to the question and the name of the winner on my Facebook and Instagram page.

Let the games begin!

Question: Do you call your mother every day, or only on her birthday, Mother’s Day, and Christmas? Are your parents alive? Answer: I give my mom a call about once a week. She likes to hear what I’m up to. My dad, too. He has hopes that I will finally find a guy who is good enough for me.

Question: What is your motto? Answer: There is no instinct like that of the heart. Lord Byron

Question: What is your most marked characteristic? Answer: I look like a party girl but have the mind of Einstein. At least that’s what I’m told.

Question: What is your most treasured possession? Answer: I wish it were an award for philanthropy or something profound like that, but my philodendron Philomena is my most prized possession. I’ve kept her alive from Saint Thomas to Las Vegas. I probably shouldn’t have packed a plant on a plane, but I couldn’t leave her behind. She listens to me.

Question: What is your greatest extravagance? Answer: Considering I’m broke right now, the fact I took myself out to dinner last night is pretty extravagant. Before my last break-up, I did like going on fancy vacations, but that ended about the time my ex “borrowed” money from me.

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Answer: My ability to judge people’s character. I tend to see the good things in people, even when they have shown me their bad side. Everyone deserves a second chance, but I’d like to not be the person on the short end of the stick for once.

Question: What historical figure do you most identify with? Answer: Cleopatra. She was so beautiful that people underestimated her intelligence. The woman ran the entire Egyptian Empire! That takes a little more than looks.

Question: Coke or Pepsi? Answer: Diet Pepsi please.

Question: What super power would you like most? Answer: I’d like to be a human lie detector. It would make dating so much easier.

Question: What would you consider your greatest achievement?  Answer: I’ll have to get back to you on that. It’s a work in progress.
