Who’s That Character?

Did you enjoy last month’s contest? The correct answer to November’s Who’s That Character? was Cynthia. You can click here to read the Q & As.

A refresher on the contest:

The first person to email me at carole@carolewolfe.com with the name of the character who is answering the “Who’s That Character?” questions will receive a free digital copy of my latest book, My Best Memory. Winners will be mentioned on my Facebook and Instagram page.

This is the last month of the contest. By process of elimination, everyone should be able to figure out who this month’s character is – even if you haven’t read the books.

Let the games begin!

Question: Do you call your mother every day, or only on her birthday, Mother’s Day, and Christmas? Answer: I try to give her a call a couple of times a week. She and my dad live a couple of states over so I don’t see them as much as I’d like. I did teach them how to make video calls on their tablet, so we do chat over Sunday coffee.

Question: What is your motto? Answer: Practice makes perfect.

Question: What is your most marked characteristic? Answer: Clients say I’m a fast talker. I’m also a loyal friend. That second characteristic sounds better to me.

Question: What is your most treasured possession? Answer: My first pair of roller skates. I got them for my birthday when I was a kid. I don’t remember how old I was or who gave them to me, but that was the gift that got me skating and then interested in roller derby. The iridescent teal skates are worn and faded, but I’ll keep them forever.

Question: What is your greatest extravagance? Answer: I have a collection of bubble baths. Not the grocery store kind. The ones I buy are handmade with all natural ingredients. At the end of a busy day, it is the best thing ever to relax in a bubble bath. And maybe a glass of wine.

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Answer: I would have stayed in college. I hated studying, but it would have opened a lot of doors for me.

Question: What historical figure do you most identify with? Answer: Can a super hero be a historical figure? I’m going with Kitty Pryde. She’s a skater too plus her walking through walls thing, priceless.

Question: Coke or Pepsi? Answer: Dr. Pepper. Best soda ever. Although I only allow myself one a month. That stuff erodes the enamel on your teeth!

Question: What super power would you like most? Answer: It’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? I want Dazzler’s ability to roller skate at super speed. And her ability to turn sound into light would be pretty handy as well!

Question: What would you consider your greatest achievement?  Answer: To date, it is keeping this law firm running smoothly. Ever since Sara left, it has been harder to keep Bill and Rich in line. Wait, maybe I should have said Sara was my most treasured possession?
