Who’s That Character?

Did you enjoy last month’s contest? The correct answer to September’s Who’s That Character? was Carlton. You can click here to read the Q & As.

A refresher on the contest:

The first person to email me at carole@carolewolfe.com with the name of the character who is answering the “Who’s That Character?” questions will receive a free digital copy of my latest book, My Best Memory. Winners will be mentioned on my Facebook and Instagram page.

Let the games begin!

Question: Do you call your mother every day, or only on her birthday, Mother’s Day, and Christmas? Answer: I have a standing Sunday morning video call with Mom and Dad. We drink our coffee and discuss the week’s events. I’m hoping to include my girlfriend in a video call. I think it’s time for Mom and Dad to meet her.

Question: What is your motto? Answer: “If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.”― John Wooden

Question: What is your most marked characteristic? Answer: Depends on who you ask. Some people think my throwing arm is the best thing about me, but I don’t play much football anymore. I love a good business partnership though, especially when it helps those in need.

Question: What is your most treasured possession? Answer: While the miniature gavel I received for being head of Law Review and my law school diploma are important, I think I treasure the record album my girlfriend got me more. She knows how much I love Elvis!

Question: What is your greatest extravagance? Answer: It’s pricy, but nothing beats a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Answer: I need more patience. It’s better than when I was younger, but when I want something, I want it now.

Question: What historical figure do you most identify with? Answer: Jimmy Carter. He brokered what is arguably the largest peace agreement we’ve ever seen. It speaks a lot to the man’s empathy and patience. (Maybe that’s why I want more patience!)

Question: Coke or Pepsi? Answer: Coke. The old-school kind.

Question: What super power would you like most? Answer: Super strength. How cool would it be to throw a football halfway around the world?

Question: What would you consider your greatest achievement?  Answer: To date, it’s helping the underprivileged find housing. I’m happy to be working with likeminded businessmen who want to help women and children who don’t have any other option but shelters. It’s important to empower people so they can help themselves.
