This is the fourth Potluck Pig for 2024.
Collecting things takes up space. Even as cute as my pigs are, I’ve started thinking about where a new pig would go before I buy it. That’s why I now have a pig tea towel.
It’s functional and I will be able to enjoy my new pig everyday. I don’t have to dust it. Throw it in the washing machine and it is as good as new! (It has not been washed or ironed yet, so excuse the wrinkles! Wait. Who am I kidding? It will never get ironed.)
Side note: When I bought this at SKT Ceramics at Findlay Market in Cincinnati, OH, the sales person asked me if I thought the bird was really big or the pig was really small. Apparently, the proportions seem off to her and she likes to ask the customers what they think. My answer: it is the perfect practical pig!
