Hex & Hearth is a paranormal romance anthology featuring ten authors, ten love stories, and one wonderfully magical shared world. It is a little different from my usual women’s fiction, but it still includes so many of the things I love to write: small towns, friendship, snarky humor, and characters finding the courage to begin again.

Plus magic.

Apparently, I have magic now.

From sweet to steamy, Hex & Hearth features both M/F and M/M romances across a range of heat levels. Each story stands alone, and every couple receives a guaranteed happily ever after.

Welcome to Driftwood Pointe

Driftwood Pointe has been weaving its magic for centuries, and love remains its greatest enchantment.

Along the Massachusetts coast, tucked between sea and stone, lies a town where the impossible feels ordinary and whispers are carried on the tide. At its heart stands the Hex & Hearth, where the fire is warm and fate often pulls up a chair.

For three hundred fifty years, Rowan has poured patrons the drink they need, not necessarily the one they ordered. Elara listens because she already knows their secrets and keeps them safe.

Within Driftwood Pointe’s winding streets and along its salt-kissed shores, love takes many forms. Witches and shifters, ghosts and ancient powers, first loves and second chances collide in ten interconnected stories where destiny refuses to be ignored and happily-ever-afters are hard-won.

Because in Driftwood Pointe, love is the one force old enough, and stubborn enough, to break what time couldn’t.

My Story

My contribution to the anthology is The Way Light Found Her, a midlife romance filled with quiet magic, second chances, an injured cat, a socially awkward veterinarian, and a hedgehog who has opinions about nearly everything.

In other words, it was very fun to write.

The story follows Nell Halloway as she arrives in Driftwood Pointe hoping to help a friend and rebuild her life after divorce. She has no plans to fall for the town’s handsome veterinarian, discover that magic is real, or find herself drawn toward a place that might finally feel like home.

Plans are apparently treated as suggestions in Driftwood Pointe.

You can also sign up for the ARC team for a chance to read an advance copy and leave an honest review.

And because every visit to a magical town should include at least one important personality assessment, you can take the quiz to discover what kind of witch you are.
